Our volunteers are an incredibly important part of the work we do at The Countess of Brecknock Hospice. By offering their time – be that a few hours a month or a day each week – our team of volunteers help us to provide outstanding care to patients and their families.
Our Volunteer Team
We need volunteers from all walks of life, and anyone over 18 years of age may apply to join our volunteer team.
Here’s just a flavour of how you could get involved:
- Meet and greet our visitors at the hospice – during the day, early evenings and at weekends
- Keep our garden looking beautiful
- Volunteer at one of our hospice renovation days
- Support our Charity Team at local events
- Help source raffle prizes to support our events
- Run your own fundraising event to raise essential funds
- Be a hospice ambassador by giving a talk at local community groups to build awareness of the hospice’s work
- Join our Board of Trustees
